English for Academic Purposes Related to Dentistry: Analyzing the Reading Comprehension Process

The Universidad de la República, in Uruguay, offers reading comprehension English courses within the career of dentistry for students to access information this language. study sought analyze fulfilment course’s aims and test hypothesis that greater vocabulary possess, better they will be able understand written texts. A mixed approach, based on interviews a class survey, was used. Data showed objectives were achieved. Participants stated course is highly meaningful, believed previously mentioned correlation exists.
